I agree! I tried to vary my pronouns a bit, but I didn’t try hard enough, and it shows. This piece is hyperbolic in places and shouldn’t be taken literally, but nonetheless, consider this my acknowledgement that women most definitely have egos too (I do — I’m dreadfully self-absorbed, I’d tell you to ask my friends if I still had any 😆)
